What are you up to in the spirit world - where do you reside and what is your purpose? What is your "routine" like?
AB: Alas my friend, the rules have changed that govern time and space. Many continents are divided on earth. I live for the thirst of love and there are no diminishing returns. It is the scale of unending vision. I am involved in the religion of dreams.
That makes sense. I recall a dream I had with you when I was very young. Can you explain?
AB: I certainly can: The rose extends. Its petals are elusive, but where unfolds the bud life breathes. I breathe. I find myself in dreams. We are linked by that which is unalterable. Forever somewhere there is a Sunday filled with white roses and diamonds.
Are you happy with what you accomplished on earth?
AB: I am happy to the extent that I have arrived, and in arriving I have also left. What is left is always new beginnings. Life always seems to happen. Yes, I am happy.
Do you have any opinions on what is happening in the world now?
AB: Ah, world events. I seem to recall being concerned with those at one time. Now your world seems close again to yet another war. We are at war for the heart. And all of you bold hearts on earth have done much work.
What about so-called earth events and what will change in the future?
AB: There will be calamities. There will be alterations made. Where you go is not up to me to decide, but rather you.
How do you feel Surrealism fit with spirituality, if at all?
AB: Surrealism was an archaic attempt to surrender to life, to be. Archaic only in the sense that we are forced to apply outward means to inner problems, but such is always the case in life. Was it a revolutionary movement? Yes, and it continues to be. There is no cause for concern: the wheel goes round and round.
Spirituality is like a honey bee. Wherefore art the nectar? Why the pollen and the bee? Surrealism opened itself to the honey by way of the bee. There are many windows to such places.
What would you have done differently, or what would you do differently now?
AB: Why change the past? It didn't exist (did you catch the past tense?). I believe it was unfortunate that certain ideals were not yet realized. But then realization can not be measured in time, which itself does not exist.
What could I add my sweet friends? I am but a cherry upon the leaf. Forgive me if I seem a bit unaltered.
Do you have any parting words for now?
AB: Go on an extended vacation and leave yourself to chance.
