This time I was on a two lane highway surrounded by at least three tornadoes. They came so close they temporarily swept the car up and brushed it around the other direction. We sped away in the other direction, launching our vehicle over a creek, landing on the other side barely escaping injury, safe from the tornadoes.
I was surprised to see thunderstorms in the forecast 3 days later. On the way home from my family Christmas visit, traveling along similar roads as in the dream, I had witnessed some of the more powerful winds in a while, especially those not directly associated with a storm. Later I heard relatives had been dodging tornadoes in East Texas, and in the news two tornadoes touched down in Houston. All in all, three tornadoes were reported in Texas, up to this writing. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/25/texas-tornado-2012-christmas-storm-gulf-coast_n_2363055.html
Interestingly, there were three (or more) tornadoes, as in the dream. In addition, the activity took place roughly 1-2 hrs to the east of where I had traveled to. If I interpret the symbolism correctly, it further corresponds to my being on the edge of this Christmas Day storm before turning around and heading home.
In any event, climate change is proving to be an interesting phenomenon, this Christmas Day providing us with not snow but instead tornadoes.
